Los moriscos antiguos murcianos vivieron un proceso especial de asimilación por el cual, a principios del siglo XVII, los “muy ladinos” habían incorporado los mecanismos necesarios para “traspasarse” de moriscos a cristianos viejos e integrarse en el tejido social.
