Este trabajo intenta recuperar la figura del canónigo Roque Chabás como el iniciador de la historiografía valenciana moderna y pone de manifiesto su aprecio por la Universidad de Valencia al engrosar con su legado los fondos de la biblioteca universitaria. Con él se inició un movimiento historiográfico de carácter científico sobre temas valencianos sustentados en estudios documentales y arqueológicos, una dedicación personal que plasmó en la ordenación de varios archivos.

Con estos dos textos, los autores buscan dar algunas pistas a los lectores hispanoamericanos para entender la serie de procesos que llevaron al derrumbe del Muro de Berlín y de la Cortina de Hierro, que según sus defensores iba a dividir todo el Viejo Continente por cien años más. La construcción del Muro el 13 de agosto de 1961 simbolizó el intento de mantener en el marco de la Guerra Fría el nuevo orden mundial creado después de la Segunda Guerra Mundial; su significado nefasto para la población alemana llevó finalmente a su caída el 9 de noviembre de 1989 y a la reunificación...
