Sinopsis del Libro
Women, just like men, are also capable of killing, of planning the criminal act for reasons as emotional as revenge, greed or jealousy. The motive is rarely aggression or self-defense: physical inferiority places women at a disadvantage in a situation of direct confrontation, which leads them to use more sneaky and cunning ways. César Alcalá -biographer and historian- and Alicia García -forensic psychiatrist- bring us closer to the most psychotic characters: women who caused pain and suffering to their victims before ending up murdering them. In this work we will learn in detail the criminal psychiatric profiles of up to twenty-two murderer women, what their lives were like and their singular features. Among them: Gabriela Erzsébet Báthory, Margarita Ruiz de Lihory, Aurora Rodríguez Carballeira... and some Nazi guards among others. Criminal profiling is an investigative technique that allows the psychological portrait of the criminal to be drawn through the study of their social environment and the physical or behavioral signs found in the environment of the crime.
