Las formas de tratamiento «tú y usted» en el español centro-norte peninsular

Descripción / Resumen (Español / Castellano): La presente investigación tiene como fin la revisión y actualización del panorama teórico-experimental sobre el uso de las formas de tratamiento tú y usted, que se emplean en el denominado “español castellano” o “español centro-norte peninsular”. Este tema ha sido ampliamente abordado por la Sociolingüística desde finales de los años 60, siendo objeto de profusas diatribas teóricas por la falta de acuerdo sobre los factores que intervienen en la selección de las formas tú y usted. Para llevar a cabo el estudio, se ha optado por una combinación de métodos y de metodologías de análisis, que dan lugar a la triangulación metodológica –uso de varias metodologías simultáneamente– y de datos – utilización de diversas fuentes de estudio–. Se han reunido, por tanto, materiales de distintas fuentes, como encuestas creadas ad hoc sobre el uso de las formas de tratamiento, encuestas sobre las creencias de uso y corpus orales, que han sido analizados con métodos y metodologías de análisis diversos. A partir de la revisión de todos estos materiales, podemos ahondar en el conocimiento de las formas de tratamiento en el español castellano, a través de los siguientes fundamentos: 1) el uso efectivo de estas formas, 2) los factores que intervienen en su utilización, 3) las situaciones de uso de tú y de usted, 4) su empleo en la interacción y 5) las percepciones conscientes de los hablantes sobre los tratamientos. Descripción / Resumen (Inglés): This study is based on the revision and update of the theoretical- experimental overview on the use of the address forms tú and usted in the "Castilian Spanish" or "north-central Peninsular Spanish". This topic has been widely treated by Sociolinguistics since the late 60s, being the object of a great number of theoretical discussions due to the lack of agreement on the intervening factors in the selection of the forms tú and usted.To carry out the study, a combination of methods and analysis methodologies were chosen, which lead to the methodological triangulation –the use of several methodologies at the same time- and data-the use of several study sources–. There has been a gathering of materials from different sources, such as surveys created ad hoc on the use of the address forms, surveys on linguistic perceptions of use and oral corpus, which have been analyzed with different methods and methodologies of analysis.Based on the revision of all these materials, we can delve into the knowledge of the address forms in Castilian Spanish through the following basis: 1) the effective use of these forms, 2) the factors that intervene in their use, 3) the usage situations of tú and usted, 4) their use in theinteraction and 5) the speakers' awareness of these address forms.
